Driving question: How can we understand wildlife better?

Grade: Preschool – Grade 3

Project description: In this project, students from Preschool to Grade 3 were challenged to explore the driving question, “How can we understand wildlife better?” Their task encompassed researching diverse facets of wild animals, including characteristics, behaviour, eating habits, and other pertinent facts. The integration of this information into their daily lessons extended across subjects like Math, English, Life Skills, and IsiZulu.

To demonstrate their acquired knowledge, students were tasked with preparing for a concert centered around animal behaviour. This not only served as a creative and engaging platform but also allowed them to express their newfound understanding of wildlife.

Subject integration: Mathematics, English, Life Skills, and IsiZulu.
