Nestled in Lyndhurst, less than 10 minutes from Sandton, our campus provides a rich, Africentric and technology-enabled learning environment for learners from 18 months through Grade 12.

At Future Nation Schools, we combine the National CAPS curriculum with our forward-thinking Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach.

This dynamic model ensure learners gain hands-on experience in solving real-world challenges, while integrating coding, robotics and critical thinking to prepare learners for the IEB examination and beyond.

Principal: Future Nation Schools Lyndhurst

With a distinguished career spanning over a decade, Sizwe Njapha stands at the helm of Future Nation Schools’ Lyndhurst campus as its Principal, bringing with him a profound passion for education and a visionary leadership style. His journey in the educational field is marked by a series of progressive roles, each underlining his commitment to excellence, innovation and the holistic development of students.

Beginning his career as a Geography and Social Sciences teacher, Sizwe has since navigated through various educational landscapes, including serving as a Geography Specialist, Head of Humanities, FET Phase Head (Academic Head) and Deputy Principal at Future Nation Schools: Lyndhurst Campus.

Sizwe’s academic background is as impressive as his professional trajectory, holding a Master’s in Education (Curriculum Studies) with a specialisation in Educational Geography from the University of Pretoria, among other qualifications. His dedication to educational research and continuous improvement is evident in his advanced certificate in Mapwork from the University of Johannesburg and a Bachelor of Education (Honours) specialising in Educational Management from the University of South Africa. Beforehand, he obtained both a Bachelor of Sciences in Environmental Management and Bachelor of Sciences (Honours) in Geography from the University of Zululand. His expertise extends across various educational curricula, including the South African CAPS and the English Curriculum, demonstrating his adaptability and comprehensive understanding of global educational standards. Enriched by his three years of experience working in an international setting at GEMS Metropole School in Dubai, UAE, where he gained valuable insights into international education issues and practices.

His tenure at Future Nation Schools Lyndhurst, first as Deputy Principal and now as Principal, showcases his unwavering commitment to raising student achievement levels and fostering an environment where contemporary skills are honed alongside academic pursuits. Sizwe’s leadership is characterised by a forward-thinking approach, emphasising the importance of preparing students not just for academic success but for their roles as global citizens. His passion for geography and geopolitics further enriches the learning environment, infusing it with a sense of curiosity and a broader understanding of the world. His contribution to the Future Nation Schools network and the broader educational community is a testament to his belief in the power of education to transform lives and shape futures.

Foundation Phase (Grades R – 3): 07:30- 13:30
Intermediate Phase (Grades 4 – 6): 07:20 – 14:30
Senior Phase (Grades 7 – 9): 07:20 – 15:30
FET Phase (Grades 10 -12): 07:20 – 15:30

Aftercare:

Aftercare is available for Pre-schools and Foundation Phase students: 13:30 -17:30
Penalty fee for late child collection: R120 per 5 minutes
