Grade: Grade 2

Project Descriptor: The grade 2 library project aimed to promote a love for reading and enhance literacy skills among students. The project involved creating an engaging and accessible library space within the school, encouraging students to explore a wide range of books and develop a lifelong passion for reading.

The project also focused on organising interactive reading activities and events, such as story time sessions, book clubs and author visits. These activities aimed to spark students’ imaginations, foster critical thinking skills, and promote discussions about literature. The project team worked closely with teachers to incorporate library resources into the curriculum, ensuring that students had opportunities to explore and utilise the library as part of their learning experience.
