Driving question: What is the student population at FNS schools and how does a census help us understand demographics?
Grade: Grade 7
Project Descriptor: The driving question saw students explore various components of a census and conduct their own FNS census. In teams students desinged their own survey which was used to collect data about FNS population demographics such as age, gender, religion, race, home language, distance from school and mode of transport used by students. The census process allowed students to interact with data and practising the data analysis skills.
