On 12 January 2026, the country celebrated the outstanding achievements of the Class of 2025.
eNCA caught up with Future Nation Schools’ top achievers, Blessing Dzonzie and Bokang Makhubedu, to hear what it took to achieve these exceptional results. With 7 distinctions each, Blessing was recognised on the IEB Commendable Achievement List for ranking in the top 5% in five subjects, while Bokang achieved Top 1% nationally for IsiZulu FAL.
The conversation also included Blessing’s mom, Refilwe Dzonzie, who shared what the journey of a top achiever looks like from a parent’s perspective.
