The project focused on investigating how war has evolved over the last century, exploring its technological, strategic, and societal transformations. Dikgang conducted detailed research, analysing significant conflicts, technological advancements, and the shifting roles of civilians and soldiers in warfare. He reviewed primary and secondary sources, including historical records, eyewitness accounts, and scholarly articles, to understand changes in weaponry, communication methods, and military tactics.
