Future Nation Schools’ Class of 2024 celebrates outstanding IEB matric results
Result highlights: 100% Bachelor Pass, 135 distinctions and 22 top achievers
Johannesburg, 14 January 2025: Future Nation Schools (FNS) proudly announces the exceptional achievements of its Class of 2024 in the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) matric exams. With a 100% Bachelor Pass rate and 135 distinctions achieved, FNS students have once again set a standard of excellence and resilience. This underscores the success of the institution’s commitment to quality academics, resilience, innovation and the development of 21st-century skills and competencies through its unique Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach to teaching and learning.
Top achievers recognised for excellence
This year’s results reflect an average of 1.8 distinctions per student, with the top-performing FNS student achieving 7 distinctions. Additionally, 22 students earned recognition as top achievers, each securing 3 or more distinctions.

7 Distinctions: Oyena Mzendana
6 Distinctions: Asiphe Cele, Galaletsang Mosweu and Kananelo Molokwane
4 Distinctions: Amogelang Mabuela, Amogelang Moroe, Kgosimolema Modise and Oratilwe Kunene
3 Distinctions: Amahle Khulu, Basetsana Kgasi, Isaac Motala, Katleho Molaba, Keratilwe Mphanya, Khazimla Sibeko, Khethelo Ndwandwe, Lydia Phasha, Nompumelelo Kubeka, Olorato Seutloali, Rorisang Ranaka, Thoriso Nyama, Tshegofatso Mosiane and Tsiko Nemungadi
