How deep are the origins of manipulation on the economy and how far can it go?

Project description:

This individual research project explored the driving question: How deep are the origins of manipulation on the economy, and how far can it go? The study aimed to uncover the historical roots, mechanisms, and consequences of economic manipulation, tracing its influence from early trade systems to modern global markets.

To address this question, the project began with an in-depth literature review, which examined key historical examples such as mercantilism, the formation of monopolies, and government interventions in markets.
