How much do we really know about the universe?

By Tshegofatso Moroeng

Project description:

The research project explored the question, How much do we really know about the universe? It investigated current scientific understanding of the universe’s origin, structure, and fundamental laws while highlighting unresolved mysteries. Through a multidisciplinary approach, it incorporated knowledge from physics, astronomy, and cosmology.
The study began with a literature review of credible sources to examine key topics like the Big Bang theory, the universe’s composition (matter, dark matter, and dark energy), and the forces governing cosmic phenomena. It also explored how technologies such as telescopes and particle accelerators have advanced our understanding of the cosmos
